I think that I am finally dry. The camper is in storage I really enjoyed camping with Ellen and Laura again and meeting Judy and Judi. I had a great time and look forward to getting together next year.

After a rainy drive I'm back home in Portland and the rig in unloaded. It was raining when I was unhooking, and the wand to extend the awning was stuck. Judy and I tried but finally a man came to help. He brought his ladder and managed to unstick it, but in the process talked about how much he hated Portland because there is too much "riff-raff" and hippies. But I was glad he got the darn thing unstuck. I was soaked and looked like a drowned rat by the time I pulled out of the RV park.

I want to thank Ellen, Laura, Joan and Judy for such a warm welcome. I really enjoyed spending time with them, and look forward to doing it again!

Yes...come on down, Sharon. We'll teach you some mean line dances.

In reality, we were probably the most "out of line" dancers in the line.....always going the opposite direction of everyone else. Judi was persistent though. She was in for most of the dances and had it down before the night was over. I, on the other hand, had to sit down quickly when they started doing some kind of western kick and jumping off the ground. Somehow my jump doesn't work anymore. Fun, however, to throw abandonment to the wind and revisit the fun times but oh how quickly reality can set in and tell you, "the old gray mare she ain't what she used to be." However, I will keep doing crazy things and having as much fun as I possibly can cause it ain't over til it's over!!

P.S. Laura can teach you the "Cotton Eyed Joe" as she is the expert there and she CAN kick and jump. I wish my photos had been better of that. Now where is that FL GTG? I'm rearing to go again for more fun! Who couldn't love RVing with great RV women?

Plan on Quartzsite in Jan. Totally bare bones unplanned gtg...just a bunch of us getting together in the desert to yak, shop and eat. Haven't seen any cowboys yet, tho. LOL! I would imagine we could put some music on and do some line dancing in ghe dirt, tho! Tee hee!
