Yea for Peggy not in Connecticut soon! Yes to folks just deciding to jump in vehicles and driving. Now if we could get Pat to drive down from SD. I am driving over to stay with Sarah tonight and will arrive to check out the lake tomorrow. If I hadn't forgotten my WIFI at home I would deliver pictures but folks will just need to be patient. Okay lunch is over time to pull out of the rest area. Keep the lights one Sarah. I should be there in less than two hours.

Carol is crazy enough to drive half way across the country and back again. How cool is that. We'll be going in her rig and sharing the cost and driving if she gives up the wheel.
We're leaving NY on Tuesday and should join you on Thursday or whenever...
See you soon. Peggy

Oh, I'm so glad you both decided to go!! I know you will have a wonderful time, spur of the moment decisions are sometimes the best. I'll be there in spirit.

Tina & Sarah, glad you're meeting up today & then checking out the lake a little early. You'll have more folks joining you come Monday & Tuesday.
Be sure to let me know if there is anything you can think of that we might need that hasn't been mentioned yet. :D

And yes, BJ, I totally believe spur of the moment decisions are some of the best!

Keeping everyone in my prayers as you journey to the land of OZ. (Sharon, have fun in Liberal - I'm bringing the Wizard of OZ movie with me in case anyone needs a refresher  )

Thanks for the info Catherine, I will wander through the grocery store and get interesting food. Tina and Sara, I am a spur of the moment type gal also and for me it makes life interesting. I will be glad to meet everyone. This is going to be fun.

Oh Boy, Peggy & Carol are joining us also!!!!!!
Tina has arrived for the night and we're staying about 3 or 4 hours from CanningCreek. Noted that Check in is a very late one: 6:00 PM, never been to park where it was that late. THose of you arriving during the week shouldn't have to wait that late but for us arriving on Sunday, we know sites are taken for Saturday and the folks don't have to check out until 4:00 PM.
After a bit of a cold start, the weather has been nice today - I have so enjoyed seeing the sun come back.

I just want to say how anxious and excited I am to see those of you I've met before and just as excited to meet all of you I haven't. This is going to be a wonderful GTG. I'm spending a couple nights at an RV park in Kremmling, CO w/hookups for a treat and a chance to do some laundry. Can't wait to see you all soon.

Sharon, Sarah and I will case the place for you......looks like you are down on the end next to the boat ramp.....unless there is another Sharon coming. Just reading through the names makes me think there may be trouble a foot and the wine hasn't even been uncorked yet..... :)

So glad Carolb and Peggy made the snap decision to come! Must have been sudden or secret, because Carolb never breathed a word to me when we were together the other day. I could have, maybe should have, but I'm enjoying my leisurely journey south now. Have fun, and don't forget pictures, updates, and arrest reports.
