Allrighty, then. Will run the date past the DH and see if he minds me being gone 2 weekends in a row. He may not even notice I'm gone if it's dove season So I would be there just for the weekend 18-20th.
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Spouses are always welcome at our gtg's. Sometimes there are others, sometimes not - some of the guys like it when they are surrounded by us - others hibernate lol

For those of you who are or might come, please let me know if you want pull through's, back ins, etc. the campground just wants an idea of how many potential sites to block off as they have other groups and divi duals to accommodate too.
Sue - I'll do the night of Saturday 9/18. Can't tell from the map how tight the road is for backing in, so this newbie should probably have a pull-through (unless someone (MelissaD ) wants to do it when I get there
Should we call for reservations so we are together? The reservation process doesn't look like it tells you what site # we'd be assigned.
Cheryl Today me will live in the moment unless it's unpleasant in which case me will eat a cookie ~~~Cookie Monster
Cheryl, Soon as I get a rough number of how many might come I am going to let the group coordinator know and she will block off an area of sites so we stay together if we can. Then when we make reservations, you can tell her you are with WomenRV and it will be noted. Back in is up to you. I'll be there when you arrive. For the difference of a couple bucks, pull through is worth it. But we might be in line for a group rate too. Hang on for a couple days.

I can back in if I have a spotter. Or even if I don't I can manage. So don't need a pull through. I would, however, appreciate any help if I need to dump. I've never done it on my own!

Thanks, Beth; I've given up predicting what DH will do in a group...maybe he'll hibernate, maybe he'll hang out with the women... Sue, we'll need a tent site, so if the group is near one end or the other of the tent sites, I'll find you. I found Judy in Frankenmuth just by walking down the road into the CG & recognized her rig! Otherwise, I'm sure we can make it work in any case. Eileen
Dates are fine with me. Pull through if available, otherwise my RV does have reverse. FHU. Let us know when to make the reservations. Thanks for taking this on, Sue.
I like pull throughs, but I can do back in with a spotter also. Tent is sure welcome on my site, only 24ft here. As Tina said most CGs allow a tent with an RV, hopefully this one does.
RESERVATION TIME, Just r talked with Cindy who is group coordinator for Shipshewana Campground South. They are going to hold 10 sites at least for us, there are more available. Everybody can call in their own reservations but make sure you tell them you are with WomenRV. Don't call till Monday (13th) as office closes early today, and is closed on Sunday. Number is 260-768-4669. I made my reservation for arrival on Friday, 18th leaving on Thursday, 24th.
