Glad to hear things are looking up. And that you are keeping your spirits up through it all.

MY, but this mini GTG in Kentucky has turned out to be quite the maxi adventure for some of you! Other than the nasty dog attack on poor Nikki, the problems are mechanical, electrical, plumbable, and fixable down the line. I can imagine the horrible feeling you had, Sarah, when poor Nikki got attacked.

Love the pics, and thanks for sharing the fun and trials with us all!

..
Here is our Tuesday afternoon feast (and this is just my and Sarah's food - the rest is yet to come)

Let's see - pasta salad, bbq ribs, sweet potato salad, baked potato slices with sour cream, sliced home grown (NOT by me, by my neighbors) tomatoes and hard boiled egg halves, crispy garlic bread with roasted garlic garlic butter, and of course - my glass of wine.

Linda and Sandy brought over chicken wings, a gorgeous cheesy baked potato, and other things which I can't recall just now. Hopefully, they'll fill in the blanks. I ate ONE wing and one small piece of garlic bread - that's it! (sadly, still overstuffed from lunch at Mexican restaurant...)

And here's my little flea bitten flea-bag.
She does love to go camping.
She wouldn't leave the trailer while I was cleaning it yesterday.

These decorated little piggies were all over downtown Cadiz - VERY cute. I didn't see it, but Linda and Sandy said the piggy in front of the police station was painted with a cop uniform! :)

Don't want to give away any photo secrets but there is a railing around the deck and a tall hook for lantern.

Got into my new site about noon, used all my blocks again and still could not get the bubble in level off the edge. Linda and Sandy wanted some stuff from Wal-Mart so we found one in Hopkinsville (about 25 miles) late this afternoon. They also actually had 2 boxes of the Lynx Level Blocks (10 each) but only 2 boxes. Bought both boxes and now have 20 blocks under front wheels and the level bubble still will not come off the edge. (Front end is raised 6.5 inches.) I abandoned the idea of turning fridge back on but it is at least more comfortable inside the rig. I did have to pull in forward again in order to have hookups on drivers side and not sleep with head down hill. Not all together a bad thing however as trees less dense here and I have a little window thru them to see the lake. I may be broke from buying things for Magic, but you ladies just might make a real RVer out of this rookie yet.

There are tent campers in Mitch's and my former site - in fact there are a lot of tent campers here now and sites do seem more suitable for them and small TTs.
Had to laugh with lady in next site over when she said this is the most rustic campground she has even been in and she is a veteran camper. She is not very level either.

Sandy grilled burgers for us tonight and Linda made pasta salad. Very good.

I had been concerned about getting Nicky thru the sound of fireworks here tonight. They were about a mile from my current site (near where the other site I had booked starting the 4th was) and hills/trees muffled sound and obscured view. He tucked his tail and curled up in bed so was not too upset by the bangs. Unusual for him.

More adventures tomorrow.

Was Mitch standing on the rail or did you all hang her from the hook? That would have been a fun accident report.

Sorry you still couldn't get level.

I got all but one of the house cats in before the neighbors started with the fireworks. She hid in a hole under the porch and wouldn't come out until a few minutes ago. She is also afraid of bad weather. I have heard of dogs running away because of fireworks.
