That works for me. Do you know if site 32 gets afternoon shade? It is shorter than 31 which would be better for a bigger rig.

I dont know Marda....There is sun all around but I think it wont be very hot the times we are going. There are lots of trees there but the sites are only somewhat shaded. When I drove thru I noticed 31 was shady so I thought of you. It wont be crowded that time of year so pick a spot LOL

k

Im going to look at the map then and reserve a spot I need a long spot

Marda I drove by there on my way back to work today......the ones F37 - 50 seem to have more shade trees and a better angle. I booked site 39 for Sept 27 - Oct 2nd 6 nights Hope this helps. OK everyone else make your reservations

I'd have to leave the 30th- maybe the 1st - have to be at my job the 1st. I'll do the 27th to either the 30th or 1st - will look at the distance and make that decision and get something booked. Without electric, I prefer a more sunny site - do you know which of those might be best, Karen?

Edited to say - it's just under 200 miles - so I can leave on the 1st - told him I'd be there the 1st - don't plan to get there early :)

YAY......I finally get to GTG with Beth. Actually all the sites have sun just not sure how sunny they are. The one I choose will have sun but has some shade trees around it....not over it LOL Meaning...pull chair over there. I think the lower numbers 30's have more sun... I chose 39 as a LONG one with shade trees in the vicinity...hope that helps. I didnt want the sun coming in my BIG A** window.

As to me - was forgetting we'll have electric - so I don't have to worry about sun lolol - it's when I don't, I need to think about that for my solar panels.

So, I'm booked into F37 for 4 nights - leaving on the 1st. F37 says full shade. We shall see. I can handle sun or shade.

Hi all! Made my reservation for site F38. I invited a friend from far Northern CA too, hope she can make it! Maybe some of the Alaska adventurers will be headed south by that time?

My plans are tentatively (at this time) to spend a week or so exploring the Klamath/Tule Lake Wildlife Refuges before the gtg. It will be time for winter migration, so might be really fabulous there!

P.S. Marda.....I got TWO of the dLite solar lanterns....they are great! They weight next to nothing and nice light too!

Yay - more people coming! Glad to see the reservations made. Would love to see those migrating birds with you Diana, but will be pushing it from Alaska to make it on time - well, pushing it the way I like to travel anyway.
