The best thing I remember about Beckie was when Carolyn told her she had to help her with "dumping". I really wish I had a video of that moment. Carolyn tells Beckie to hold down the hose with her foot while Carolyn releases the "black water". Beckie started to gag and gag and gag...but knew she didn't dare move her foot or that "smell" might end up all over her.

Yes, Sharon may be the wild one but Beckie has here wild moments too. Looking forward to photos from Primm!

Busted and I think that is what convinced Becky that she didn't want anything to do with RVs.

I just got an email from her and she's home. So we just might have to gang up on her if she doesn't post them soon.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I'm home, but jeez guys, give me some time to get the truck unloaded and stuff put away! AND as you all well know, it takes a little time to get the photos on the 'pooter, sized, labeled and uploaded to PB! So ok, here ya go, but since I know ya'll love scenery pix, first you have to wade thru those.

I-15 North, between Barstow and Baker, plain old desert, kind of boring for most people, but I love it:

Image

Scenery is a little better thru this pass:

Image

Dare you to pronounce this after a couple of Carolyn's Coolers!

Image

Dry Lake in the distance:

Image

Down grade into Baker, where I had a potty break and second breakfast. Baker is the entry to Death Valley.

Image

Is this our friend Jenny? Nope, it was a fiver, with a girlie driving! Gosh, we're everywhere!

Image

Target in sight, Primm, Nv!

Image

My new buddy Becky and me, a little blurry, Ron was a little shaky. Guess he was waiting for Beck and I to cut loose..or jump in the water for a picture! LOL!

Image

A better one from Becks phone, but for some reason I had my eyes shut.

Image$100

Some pretty big flamingos, and yes, Becky and I discussed getting in the water for a better picture...and no, we didn't do it. Didn't want Ron to have to drive all the way back to LV to bail us out.

Image

All I wanted to do was make sure that they both fit in the holders! A $100 Tommy Bahama suit for $23!! What a deal!

Image

Lunch was at the buffet in the casino (what's a GTG w/o food??), pretty bad but we managed to find some things worth eating, altho Becky was gonna fight a lady for the last chicken leg, she settled for a thigh. Me, I would have snatched it off her plate! LOL!

Image

Salad was good, tho. Becky was good and ordered lemonade, not iced tea...Whew! Disaster averted!

Image

I took them over to Whiskey Pete's to see a mobsters car complete with bullet holes. It belonged to mobster Dutch Schultz.

Image

It was a GREAT GTG, and Becky and Ron are so much fun! I'm really glad we had the chance to meet. Oh, and I didn't win anything in the tournament, but came out a couple of hundred ahead on my gambling, got to wear my new bathing suit, so all in all, it was a fantastic week! And yes Vickie, tried on the suit over my clothes, and no, didn't wear it in the casino, wore it at the pool (Knew that was your next question! LOL!)

Ohhhh, so THIS is the rest of the story! I got part of it in Primm as to why they don't have an rv, but certainly not this part of it!! LOL! Me thinks maybe she didn't want me to laugh at her, and laugh I would!!

Ok, that was Primm, still waiting for Proper...

I think whoever named that road had already had too many of Carolyn's Coolers.

Glad you had a fun time.

Great pics - glad to see them. And I can't say that road sober.

Great pictures. Gosh it looked hot just through the dash in the car. Glad you all got to gtg, two great ladies. Super deal on the bathing suit. I would have had to get in that water with those flamingos, jeans or not.

After a couple of those coolers, I would have been in there dancing with them! (this is why I don't drink much anymore  )

I think who ever came up with the name of that town, must have had one too many coolers too!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Actually, it wasn't hot. Didn't have to run the A/C all the way there, just the vent fan. Weather was perfect the whole 3 days, but really windy Wed. Don't think it ever got over 95. Didn't stop me from walking everywhere instead of taking the shuttle. Did my morning walk over to Whiskey Petes for breakfast Tues and Wed and then back over to the Primm for the tournament. Then back to Buffalo Bills where I was staying. Probably less than a mile, even figuring the walk thru the 3 casinos to get where I was going. Had to turn the A/C on for about a half hour coming back today, but other than that a good drive.

Glad yall had fun! Sharon, I didn't know you were playing in a tournament, I thought you were just going to see Becky, I was worried when you were missing for a couple of days! But I should have known, nobody with any sense would mess with ya!
And yall quit picking on Becky, I was going to try to convince her to come down here after a hurricane and the fridge/freezer's have been without power for a week or two!

Sounds like a GREAT time was had by all, and I love the pictures!

If the CD, "All she Wants to do is Dance" were to come on at the flamingo pool, unfortunately they would have to haul me away as I would be dancing with that big flamingo! You can even fall in a pool and not break your ribs!!!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
