Was getting a little antsy and thought I would go on over but someone is in my spot until tomorrow so I guess I'll be there around 2 or so. Everyone be safe and I'll go ahead and give you a big old Tennessee Welcome. :D ;)

Well, it's 3:30 and just passed a sign said 121 miles to Nashville, so providing Home Dude doesn't feel the need to stop at another CB shop, we should be there before too awfully long.

We headed off this morning and headed down I75....made a stop at Dale Hollow Lake COE, campground for the night. It is very, very quiet here. This is the area of Dale Hollow Lake that my family camped through my childhood. Brings back memories..... Am sitting out side the Baby Bus with the pups tethered around and checking e-mail.... love my air card! Will be pulling in to the GTG....depending upon weather and how much walking we do in the morning :) Cloudy, cool but no rain right now.....

Heard a knock at the door this afternoon and a redheaded lady brought in a bucket full of alcoholic treats! Mitch is a real sweetie! We enjoyed a little bit of the goodies and she was heading back to await Vicki's arrival. Later I packed up my wine and headed toward their campsites. It was so darn dark and they had changed sites and no one was outside so I came back to our site. I'll try and find the right sites in the morning.

Carolyn there is someone in your site. 38 right?

I'm sorry to say that I missed watching Mitch back in since I was gone most all day. I had hoped to take a photo. I'm sure there will be more Kodak opportunities this weekend.

Tina, glad you are back on the road. When we left Celina you were gone from the RV service center. I love Dale Hollow.

Woooo Hoooo, we're here, LOL! After many delays on the road, , we pulled in the campground just as Mitch was giving up on us making it in tonight. She had called earlier and said that our site 41 wasn't handicap accessible because it was terraced with steps all around the site and picnic table, so was Sharon's site 43 but her's wasn't so we switched, but you know I"m really gonna have to check it out tomorrow, I'm thinking she was just doing a switcherroo on me so she wouldn't end up in the lake, LOL. It's good to be off the road and in one spot for a couple of days.
Oh, and we passed Margie and Roger's FULL TIME HOME on the way in, congrats to you both, sorry we missed the visit today, but tomorrow's another day, LOL.
I'm worried nobody's heard from Sharon after her NM post. Can't wait to see everybody!

I'm having a wicked case of GTG-envy! Sure wish I was there with you gals. (and guys!) The rest of us are all hoping that everyone is having safe and uneventful trips and that you take LOTS of pics for us back at home to drool over. Have a blast, my friends!

Ready to finish packing up and heading sown the last bit of road :D :D I knew their was someone in my spot and since I didn't know when they would be exiting I have enjoyed this lake. Met two wonderful 80 year old women that have been coming here with their families since the 60's. They shared their campfire with me last night! The are both widowed now and have a guy that comes in and sets up their trailers when ever they have a reservation. Their kids sometimes come down with gk and stay at their own sites.... Life is good....should get in sometime this afternoon!

No arrest have been made and no one is in the lake yet. We are a bit wet and tired but it stopped raining long enough for us to sit around Vickie's fire.... The mention of pictures was made........ More later about Swedish meatballs and men hugging Carolinagal........

Yes, we are having fun, well at least I am, I'm hoping everyone else is too! Margie & Roger (Annie & Buddy) were the first to arrive on Sunday, then Mitch and me & Ronnie on Monday. Today brought us Tina (Hershel, Remi & Izzy), Sharon (Sam & Chewy), Carolyn & her friend (Sedona), Carol (Maggie) & Sarah. Tomorrow BJ will arrive and the circle will be complete, unless Fernie and Bash show up and we'll add to the circle, LOL.
.
We had rain today and it slowed down the progress of some of the ladie's trek here, but we all made it safe and sound. We sat around today and just got to know each other and laughed and sipped some liquid refreshment. 8-) I think the only mishap was when Mitch tried to shove me out of the way and pull a table out of my storage area and hurt my finger then blamed me for hurting hers, but we promptly held up that one finger up on each other's face for the other to see and went on our way! What? It was our index finger's, what were you thinking, LOL.

Cedar I figured it out.... the alien lady and her friends have taken them or maybe they are just having too much fun to take pictures and share and let us in on the fun.

Or maybe........_____fill in the blank

There is no Wifi here and only some of us have air cards...that sounds like a good reason.... People were taking pictures...just not me this time. I think Margie has some on her Blog....... We had a wonderful potluck and quiet evening around the campfire. Haven't been exploring much around Nashville. That would mean getting out of our chairs. Feel free to ask Sharon about her TRIP to Walmart.....There was some discussion about which county she was in at the time....and also about the wisdom of taking a wallet and money with you!

There was some question about how much $$$ was in Cedar's bail fund for us as Caroline has promised to be the designated driver to a "Tour" of Nashville tomorrow evening.... Wishing all could be here. All of us are enjoying meeting the persons behind those late night/early morning postings that we have been reading all these months. Hey, we really are as wonderful, talented, thoughtful and determined as those postings sounded.....what fun! Several times I figured that the laughter must carry across the universe and was hoping that all of you could hear it.

ps....There has been no dancing around the campfire...but then as good as Baileys is its not Soos' home made stuff.
