You're making some great time, Sharon! Why does I-40 suck?
If nothing goes wrong, when do you plan to be in Nashville?

Keep traveling safe!

Well, Sharon's on the way.

My Nemesis is on her way.
I've PMd Vickie to see where she is.
They got a pretty late start today and stopped early because they were both pretty tired.
So, after a good sleep tonight, they're be on their merry way in the AM!

I picked up a bottle of Alize (French Cognac - flavor = Wild Passion (passion fruit). YUMMO.
Has anyone ever had a fresh passion fruit? To die for! Have never seen one in the U.S.

Also picked up a bottle of Cafe Boheme - never had this one before.
It's "a unique blend of gourmet coffee and premium French vodka with creme and a hint of vanilla"...doesn't that sound scrumptious??
I'm hoping that between the two bottles, one of them will help make YOU-KNOW-WHO tolerable...

Yep, we're on our way, one mile at a time, LOL. Got a late start, like a really late start at 2pm and since we only got 4 hours of sleep we made it to a little town called Butte La Rose and are staying at http://www.frenchmanswildernesscamp.com/. Really nice people here and full hook ups 50amp, water & sewer for $25.85 a night with my Good Sam's Discount! If I remember to take pics tomorrow morning before we pull out, I'll post, if not then sorry, LOL.

I was just looking at a radar of the same thing. Was wondering if we would get rain on the whole drive today, yep, looks that way, told Ronnie I'd just squirt some liquid soap on his head and he could sit in the rain since we're gonna be, wet anyway, LOL. We're in Mi, crooked letter, crooked letter, i, crooked letter, crooked letter, i, humpbaack, humpback, i. On a really bummpyyy I 55, I have to type things at least twice because I keep ending up with these extra letters in there.

I'll have to days to recover fro 7 days of drinking, dancing and dallying. LOL Anyway, gonna try to up load some pix to empty my camera to make sure that I have plenty of space on my camera for those good videos, etc. I have faith the weather will be crappy on Tuesday and great the rest of the time. C'you all on Tuesday. Just think, it's finally here. Be Safe Sharon.

Alrighty Ladies, we made it to Enid MS in a COE campground on a beautiful shore, too bad, it's pouring down rain and wind out of this world and 56 degrees! So I'm cold and wet! :D Yep, I'm still smiling, cause I'm in the RV with my Hommie, LOL.

I win! We're here first! There was a prize, right? Arrived this afternoon at about 4:00 p.m. after departing Ohio (Gypsy Journal Rally week) this morning. Yep, it's pouring down rain but hopefully it will be ending soon.

We had reserved site #25 but couldn't get this monster into the site because we were too tall and wide for the site due to the trees. We had to return to the 'office' and luckily they hold back one site (#16) and they let us move into it. It's a pull through, but we still weren't able to pull in very far because there are so many trees at the front of the site. But, we're in it and will just have to back out.

We have officially been full-timers now for four days. We've been to a rally, won tickets to a car race, won a t-shirt, attended seminars, and I took a drivers class. Even drove about 100 miles today. Looking for the rest of you to arrive soon. We were surprised that there were so many sites full on a Sunday evening.

Things looked so iffy and so many things have gone wrong the past couple of months, I was having serious doubts about being able to attend my first ever gtg. All but one or two things are now repaired or at least back under reasonable control. If nothing else goes wrong, I will be there Tuesday afternoon. Even if it does, I will be there anyway ---- I so need a break and have been looking forward to meeting each of you.

Margie, congrats on being full timers now and also for taking that driving course! It amazes me that people are so intimidated by the big rigs...when it really is just a matter of "adjusting"...you know, swing a little wider and slower...double check where your arse end is. And the view from up there is awesome! LOL

Ya'll have fun at the gtg...we want the full blow by blow with LOTS of pictures.
