I figure you don't need doubles of the show but maybe a glimpse into other happenings. Here is a pic of OO (Sonda) and Beth swapping news before the Neil Diamond Tribute Show.

Image

And here are some pictures of the Segway "try outs" Bob from the ORS forum asked if anyone wanted to try his out. First Karen....steady as she goes... :o

Image

Then she gains some independence...

Image

And then she relaxes a bit..enough to look around....and smile.

Image

Then it was Beth's turn....You start out easy....

Image

ANd with Beth you begin to challenge yourself immediately by mastering the turn. :) ...and what a lovely turn... well... BUTT SHOT.....that was...

Image

And there she is back to starting position..... :)

Thanks to Bob, for sharing :D

Tina, did you try it? How did everyone like it. I've never tried one, would love to, I think they look neat, but very expensive!

It's very easy. I tried it in the desert - but that was on sand - and a straight-away. I wanted to turn - so I did - around, and around and around lol

Hahaha - Tina posted a butt shot! Love it.

I don't think any of us ever like our own pictures - you do not look bad! Don't even think that.

Today Carol, Karen and I went to the "Platters" in the AM.....They were great. As soon as they opened their mouths I recognized those tones :) The songs were all full of memories of growing up in the 50's and 60's....... Very well done. Then after a potty stop back at the park for the puppers along with some lunch for people, the three of us headed back to see and hear the wonderful "Twelve Tenors" ...what energy and voices those gentleman have. The songs ranged from traditional Irish, Beatles, pop, broardway, Sinatra to Opera.....all very well done. The performances were a combination of solos, solos with back up and the full chorus of all twelve. And did I mention that they were also good dancers. The sound was rich and full. Our hands were tired by the end of the show. :D If they come to a community near you.....plan to attend. We all felt that we have gotten our monies worth today..... And five of us, Carol, Karen, Sharon, Beth and I headed over to the nearby Mexican Restaurant for a quiet meal. We were too tired to cook and the restaurant is practically on the grounds..... :) Need our rest tonight Sharon's jeep is leaving for the Zip line at 8:15 AM tomorrow morning..... If I don't make it back promise that someone will look after the puppers for me :D
