I hope it's all wrong  Especially on Friday. Don't want to have to drive up from Rockville in rain, not set up in Shipsey in rain either.

Since it looks like we are going to be a bit scattered around between electric and full hookups, I have a 19ft. Red and White Sportsman Classic TT pulled by a dark blue Chevy pickup. Will be parked in the full hookups and am bringing one of my Fall Welcome signs to put out front. My friend Brenda also has an identical Sportsman, but a different model being pulled by a blue Dodge caravan. So you will know where to find us :D

In Ireland as long as it is a soft rain, they will follow through with a wee stretch of the leg. Means you walk 5 miles in the rain..

Will see you at the end of the week. Maybe add a bit of coleslaw to the dinner menu.

I would like to attend this festival while in the area, it will occur this weekend.

The Nappanee Apple Festival is located in Nappanee, Indiana (Elkhart County) and held annually on the third weekend in September. During the 3.5 day festival there are many attractions for all ages to enjoy. There is live entertainment on two stages, carnival rides, over 130 craft and 60 commercial booths, 25 food vendors, and a huge parade with an airplane flyover on Saturday morning.

Other events include an apple peeling contest, 5K road run, half marathon, apple pie eating and apple peeling contests, goldfish races, wings & wheels show (cars and airplanes), tractor & truck pull (Saturday, September 12), antique tractor and engine show, napple baking contest, kids & adult pedal pull contests, talent contest, and a scholarship pageant. Of course you won’t want to miss the popular Napple Store with fresh baked apple dumplings, apple pie, apple butter, apple cider, apple fritter bread, apple turnovers, homemade applesauce and much more!

On May 9, 2015, the Nappanee Apple Festival will be hosting its 1st Annual Spring Diesel Truck Jamboree. Street Stock, Modified and RWYB are eligible to participate. The event will be held at the Callander Sportsplex on C.R. 7, just north of U.S. 6 in Nappanee. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m., gates open at 12:00 p.m., test and tune starts at 12:00 p.m. and pull starts at 5:00 p.m.

Eileen and I are here and we have been having such fun getting acquainted! And Louise is not going to make it; she has injured her shoulder and doesn't feel up to driving. Sure hope the forecast is wrong! So far today we have had lovely weather.
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

This place is emptying out quickly this morning. They're leaving in droves, probably due to the rainy weather. Lots and lots of spots available!

We will be there in time for some supper. Need to put some fresh water in the tank, load up some pups, hook up a small Honda and we are out of this driveway. See you soon. :)

I normally drive through Shipshewana (past the CG) about 2:20 and 4:20pm as I head up to Three Rivers MI and back getting axles for the Fort Wayne truck plant. I drive a white Freightliner with "ACC" on the door. Probably see a few of our other trucks passing through town.

Till Sunday :D

I chickened out of a second night in the tent with thunder, lightning and pouring rain and drove back to Angola for the night in the cottage. Nice to listen to the storms in a bed under a roof: now I KNOW we're getting an RV in the spring! The weather is supposed to clear up around noon and then smooth sailing the rest of the weekend. I'll go back to Shipshewana when I get going this morning, or if too late, I'll go directly to the Napannee Apple Festival to meet the group there. What a nice, welcoming bunch of folks!

I've not met many from the group in person, and would love names to go with the group photo. It sure looks like you all are having a greta time!
