I like how nice the inflatable kayak feel when you use them as giant floating chairs.....

And now for the rest of the story.......I was so darn careful to get my seat in facing the right way that I got it in backwards. Then it started going flat. The seat, not the kayak. The kayak kept turning around the wrong way and I spent 3 hard miles trying to get down the bayou with no back support and trying to keep up with the girls. I kept going in circles. I was so frustrated I was ready to sink the darn thing and walk back to Breaux Bridge! Carolyn finally noticed that Karen was sitting in hers the other way. I tried to turn around in the center of the bayou, almost capsized the kayak. Carolyn helped me get over to shore, I got turned around and the rest of the trip would have been pleasant if not for the fact my back was killing me and my arms were ready to give out from turning circles all the way down! I managed to make 8 miles out of 4. Carolyn very kindly christened me with my new Indian name.....
She Who Paddles Backwards.

I'm ready to give it another go! Hopefully forwards this time.
