This zumba class that you're having Sharon, seems to me by the above questions, that you will have a great show on your hands for all of the campers around :o   nightgowns and coffee cups, how you going to hold the weights Wendy? Fun already and its not even time yet. Are you going Martha, didn't see where you had commited yet.
Before you ask, I want to, but still trying to find my way through the maze here. But this thread is getting very interesting, so I'll enjoy it for awhile. I'm waiting for Carolyn's(sunshine) answer to your question Sharon ummmm did she or didn't she? that is the question

I'm thinking about it. I couldn't make it last year and I sure wanted to go.

Only if it has a lid on it...we wouldn't want any old geezer that might be around to have a heart attack when the Zumba class turns into a "wet nightie" contest!!

We had a good time with the weight class last year with some enthusiastic participants. And some even more enhusiastic observers! :D

Rig tours cause me to panic. I'm domestically challenged. My excuse always is "my rv has been in the shop the last few months..haven't had a chance to spiff it up".

What really sucks is that the part about the shop is usually true... and all the dry goods that I keep in the rv as part of hurricane preparedness, are stale dated by the time I get the rv out of the shop and back on the road.

At the Ocala, Florida Womens GtG, when I read there was a rig tour, I stopped at Target and got new bedding to toss over the not so pretty travasak that I use. Travasaks, no longer in business, are like sleeping bags with a summer and winter side... sheets velcro'd in.. all one piece). Anyway, the bedding slipped, slided.. all over the place. It was rather amusing.

I'm on of those people that can clutter a counter in two seconds or less. Its a gift.

I'm glad this get together is back on the drawing board. Now I'm praying for fuel prices to drop. I haven't mapped it.. but I think the location is close to 600 miles for me...one way. From the gtg, I'm heading over to Ocala, Florida for two weeks then back home to Panama City.. if all goes to plan.. if i can stay out of the rv shop that long.

I wish I could commit now to this as I live in AR but it's about 150 miles away. One of you mentioned things to do..the only thing I can think of is the Casino in Greenville, MS...not too far down the road.

Reservation made...site 116 in area F, arriving Mon Oct 3rd, leaving Fri the 7th. Got the senior discount, so it's
20+change per nite for full HU's and riverfront property. What a deal!!! I'll leave Fayetteville Sunday afternoon, stay around Conroy or Little Rock that nite and book into Chicot Monday mid morning.

C'mon, Nancy, you KNOW you want to come!! :D

Guess we'd better have a rig tour as usual, everyone seems to like that and we have some ladies coming that some of us haven't met yet. And also as usual, I'll be giving Zumba and weight classes for those that are interested. Usually early in the morning before it gets to warm. Carolyn (Sunshine Cruiser), you HAVE been practicing your Zumba, right? And doing the weights???

Damn you Sharon, why did you have to add w/weights??? I was good with practicing Zumba, yes; with weights, no. I'll show you on the cruise how well I've been doing if my knee holds up. Trust me I won't be in my PJs, that would NOT be a pretty sight. We like to have folks watching, visiting, participating, etc. Sharon is a great teacher!

Has anyone heard from Carold and TGM? Wonder if he will show up again??

I'll be heading back to FL when I depart AR.

Casino-20 mi??? I'm all over that, if I have money left from cruise.

Also, Vicky from TX, you coming??? You gotta come go for a hike with us.

Carold and tGM are (or were) in the PNW, so no, they're not gonna make it. Vicky is taking GK's to Walt Disney World, so she's not gonna make it either.   In fact, we're all waiting...and waiting...and waiting...for Miss Vicky's report and pictures of a week long rafting and fishing trip. After Janice's whitewater rafting trip report I'm hoping she didn't get lost overboard somewhere on the river! :o

Alice said "I'm on of those people that can clutter a counter in two seconds or less. Its a gift." I have the same gift....does that make us special????

Well, we are in the PNW-at Glacier NP for a few days and then heading east. Since we have no schedule, have no idea where we will be during the gtg. The only 2 things I know for sure is that we are meeting friends in Quebec City the last week in Sept. and we will be wintering again in Sarasota starting sometime in Nov. Hopefully I'll get to see some people in FL. Sorry I can't be more definitive. Last year it just worked out that we were in Arkansas at the time of the gtg. Sounds like it's turning in to another great time. carold

If you are anywhere near LIW in PA on the trip east and up to Quebec City during the Sept gtg here, let us know! As your route isn't written in stone, you never know!

Hmmm....may have to change my reservation to stay until Sunday!

Mitch, don't forget Marslet, she said she was coming.....may have to pm her to make sure. She's prolly still resting after her last great adventure.

And thank you for keeping up with this and doing the schedule for us! You're the bestest...no matter what the Vickster says! :D
