Lyn, can't you make a reservation just to make sure?

My site is max length 75' and Vickie is 120', but we don't know if "sharing" would be allowed.

OHBOY - you're coming!!!
And lots of other fun people (except Vickie)!!!

I just realized that most places allow two vehicles, right?
So, Lyn, your TC can just be the 2nd vehicle...we could certainly make a good argument for it.

COE does not allow two camping vehicles per site. At least that is what L and I found out at the one near Manhattan.

I was thinking along the lines of two passenger vehicles, not two "camping" vehicles. For instance, my truck and Lyn's truck. We'll both be "sleeping" in my trailer...ahemmmm...

I think they probably have had people already try everything in the book...

There won't be a shortage of vehicles to shuttle anybody back & forth to their sites, the more the merrier.

Somehow, and with much difficulty, I got a reservation for site 42!!! If anyone wants to trade for one of the "walk in" sites, I'm will'en.

Wth these long driveways, it seems very stupid to not allow two rigs to park in each site.

Thanks Mitch for puttin me on the map.

Catherine, if you get a chance, could you talk with the Rangers about that site S2??? If more sisters are wanting to come, could we use that area? Just a suggestion. Lyn

I am cleaning the garage.
I have two barely used sling chairs, green.
My huge trash can for this week is full.
If anybody going to this GTG wants them, I'll bring them for you (one has the cover, one does not, unless it shows up during my cleaning)
If not, they will be in next Friday's trash.

Like this, except green:

I'll talk to them when I go out on later this spring. S2 is a group site right by our sites, but it would cost more since nearly all of us qualify for the senior discount. Plus it is in the open - no shade (of course those of you with satellite TV connections may prefer that) & it is not close to the water. I'll check to see if it isn't booked on our weekend if we can use some of those sites.

I also think they are pretty strict about 1 camper-type vehicle per site - you can have multiple vehicles & additional tents but only 1 camper-type vehicle. I really think we should be able to get the couple of walk-in sites if we try to get them on Thursday or early Friday.

This is sooo exciting. I can't wait to meet all of you! :D

Any of you ladies Geocachers?
Should I look some up?
(none in the park, that I can find, but quite a few in Council Grove)

I do not do geocaching but have followed along with others who do and, it is fun. Council Grove has a brochure of a walking tour of the town that can be gotten at the Tourism office. I enjoy doing things like that. There is also a Pioneer Nature Trail.
Down in Strong city there is a bus tour of the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. This is something I definitely want to do. Lyn
