Yep, they made it safe and sound....Sure is wonderful to see their smiling faces again....Unfortunately, my camera has a "breakdown involving a battery with a dent in it" so the 4 photos we took this afternoon were unpublishable....

Changed out the batteries, so hopefully tomorrow we'll have better luck....

But that didn't stop us from talking the afternoon away, having a few drinks, and eating supper of sloppy joes, chips, and strawberry shortcake.....the sun was shining wonderfully, but it was a little windy with a cool chill...so after supper, we all decided to call it a day.....Tomorrow we're going to do a little site-seeing....will keep you all posted on our adventures....

Okay!!!! 2nd day of this mini-GTG and we've got photos....

After a quick trip to Walmart for sewer hose for Irmi & Steve...(seems the friendly grounds-keeper at their last campground cut their sewer hose with the weed-wacker...Yuck!!) and a few other items....we drove to Bluffton for a quick walk thru the "farmers market" and had lunch at the Bluffton Oyster house....Ernie & I had our usual oysters on a half shell, raw...Steve had oysters steamed and Irmi had shrimp....

Then this evening we had Philly Cheese Steak Hoaggies and adult beverages around a camp fire

The guys planning tomorrow...

It's chilly this evening, even with the campfire, so we called it an evening and went in....Tomorrow and the weekend promise to be warmer...more fun things planned for the week to come....

I am glad it is going to warm up for y'all. Loved seeing the pics of you all. I keep thinking, OMG, two Sultans together. What trouble they will be able to think up. :lol:

Enjoy.....I know you guys have been looking forward to this visit. How do we access the bail money for you, if it should be needed? Better leave some information with Mitch just in case she and Abby need to fly out and get all four of you released..... :lol:

Okay....the safest place for the bail money is under Spinner's food dish..he guards that quite well...so, Mitch & Abby, your reward for bailing us out is the doggy food for Abby and a bottle of my best Pinot Grigio for Mitch, but you can't collect until you get us out of the "Pokey"....

And of course, puppy kisses from Spinner & Teddy

Abby and I are all ready to come to the rescue. (Abby will have to pass on the food - she's getting sick again...) but I'll definitely be on the lookout for the wine!

Sigh---the endless FL GTG groups are still at it, even though they might not be in FL any more! Sure does look like anothr fun time----thanks for sharing it with us all!

Lori, why o why did you tell Mitch where the wine is and expect her not to partake before she and Abby bail you out?????? I can hear the excuses now - we got lost, Abby said turn left, couldn't find the police station, and last but not least, I can't drink and drive. :lol:
