I arrived a bit ahead of Marda and met another single lady, Carol, so we GTG with her, too!
She had a site right on the lake and invited us to a campfire the first night.
Here is a pic of the lake then.
The next day we headed out to walk north up to the swimming beach. First we took pics of each other.

We were so busy talking and walking we (I) didn't take any more pics until we reached the beach where we found the shoreline had a small geese population. Marda thought they were Brandt geese.

Marda was more faithful in the picture taking dept. so I'll let her add her shots and thoughts.
I sure had fun albeit my LP detector kept going off so I had to shut off my LP which meant no furnace or hot water. I did use my small plug in heater but it sure gets noisey listening to the fan!
So now Little Missy needs to get checked out before our next GTG, a trip to the coast!
