Vicki, Yakn1, and I are tucked in here at the Tyler State Park. You are not going to believe all she has accomplished with Tilley, her fiberglass baby. I think she didn't even know she had it behind the truck today. This is it's longest voyage since she started restoring it. It was a 300 mile day - long one. I like this Park, it has nice big tall pine and oak trees with a rough entry to the sites but nice long pull thrus. Was a little late when we got here, so we didn’t go to the lake. Kind of noisy, but then it is Friday night. Should quiet down in another hour. Lots of Park Rangers driving around should see to it - hopefully. We will drive a couple hundred miles tomorrow and stop around Arkadelphia, Malvern or some such place and then cruise in slowly on Sunday.
Diamond State Park is definitely on my list. My birding trip got messed up and I don’t have to be somewhere until the 24th or 25th. I feel lucky as I know that mud is a good sign that you might find a sparkler and they have had some rain. So perhaps we can plan that trip and make it happen.
Okay, this night and one more and we will be there! Woo hoo!!!!
