I'm on the threshold of getting my budget/finances under control and in good order, sure
can't blow it now, gotta be in good shape before summer. But I'm not giving up hope,
someday I'll be able to make a little trip.

Sheila I haven't been hearing much about Q gtg. I know 2 for sure will be there. I'm still on the fence -- same same. I'm going to call my brother in the a.m. to see if he is going out there this year and if so if he wants to coordinate and go together. With MLK day be a holiday day off for me I would only have to use 4 days of vaction time vs/5, but there's much more involved in my decision to go...Avalen you have much more willpower about remaining faithful to getting finances in good order than I do...sometimes I throw common sense to the wind. What's your secret Iffin I don't make it to Q, make sure someone gets some good pictures. And if I do go...I promise to behave

Don't know if we're gonna make it or not...just looked at the weather report for 18-21st and it's supposed to rain Mon-Wed. Not much sense in driving that far to get stuck in the condo watching the rain. I'll talk to the BF tonite and find out what he wants to do.

Well talked to my brother and he's heading out with some friends for his knapping yearly trek. Still waiting to see what he is going to do for sure, and probably don't stand a chance in getting into Rice Ranch at this stage of the game, but my 6 wheeled Aloha has a full tank of gas and is telling me to go go go, which IF I do so, will most likely head out on the 19th through 22nd?? Wish I could comit one way or the other, but like always there are toooooooooooooo many factors to consider. Agree with Sharon though...don't know if I want to drive all the way out there to sit around inside due to crappy weather. So does anyone have a tally of who is going???

from what I've read seems like two others are going and camping down where Snowball (Sheila and Larry) are camped (boondocking), and only one (Sharon with her whining BF) will be at Rice Ranch, then Jenny at Boomerville, Pooker with a different group and me??? well.... haven't heard back from brother...still haven't managed a call to Rice Ranch, and DH is trying to pee on my desired parade with doom and gloom of rain rain rain. Stay tune for as the Q toon resumes

Shiela - Rained like crazy last night during the night here in CA. Supposed to be nice for 2 days then RAIN all next week. So, I'm betting maybe some of the people will not go to Q. I will not be going this year. Hate to miss your tacos - last year we were there in Q but never did find the group. Enjoyed seeing Q in full swing though. I would love to be heading out to SOMEWHERE!! If it wasn't raining. Wouldn't be too much fun with 2 pups, rain & mud?!!
