If anyone is interested in pot luck get togethers, I am going to be camping at Buck Hall in McClellanville, South Carolina with electric and water. If you have Federal card, then it's half price, $10 a night. I will be there 2 weeks with my wheel estate, dog and bicycle.
It's quite beautiful with large grassy lots with enough pavement to park rig on. A fabulous view of the intracoastal waterway and boats afloat plus a view of the Cape Romain National Refuge which is great for kayaks and canoes as well as regular boating. Fishing is good, nice fishing dock included. Only 14 RV sites, so it's pretty darn quiet.
The Palmetto Trail that cuts across South Carolina starts here. There is overflow boondock camping too unless it's shrimp bait season, then it's full of boat trailers.
Georgetown and McClellanville both sell fresh shrimp that is awesome.
