A week ago Nancy and I were able to get together for lunch in Conroy, Arkansas. She came south, I came east and we made it happen! We've been trying for 2 years now, but there was always something. Nancy chose this great restaurant, Marketplace, on the reccomendation of her grandaughter. Great food, great service! There's no picture of the food, by the time she had driven 50 miles and I had come 80 that meal was pretty much history when the plates hit the table!
I will say the fish tacos there are fantastic! Grilled Tilapia, done just right with just a hint of smoke. Mmmmmm good! Nancy had a chicken walnut salad and she said it was very good. After lunch we went downtown to a consignment store she knew of....nice and clean but boy are they proud of their merchandise!
We walked out empty handed, but it gave us more time to chat so it was all good! Now I feel like an idiot because I can't remember Nancys screen name....something Nana. So sorry, Nancy, old age strikes again!! Anyway, we had a great time and I'm hoping we can do it again in the near future!
