Bass Lake

City and State: Dillon, SC
Name of CG: Bass Lake Campground
CG Website: http://www.basslakecampground.net/
Overall Rating: (on a scale of 1 – 10) 9 - only because some folks had issues with the WiFi Internet in the park
Pros: Big-rig friendly, 30 and 50 AMP, pull-thru sites, clean facilities, friendly and helpful owners/staff, combination overnights and semi-permanents, permanent residents tidy and friendly, very easy access off I-95 so it's a great stopover if you're migrating north/south.
Cons: We were there about a month in November 2010. At that time, the WiFi was a bit sketchy. The park is on I-95, but we really did not hear traffic sounds in our rig.
Comments: When it was time for us to leave, so many folks came over to say good-bye. It really was a great group of folks, very helpful, very friendly yet respectful of everyone's privacy. We would definitely stay there again and I hope we get the chance to do so! Maggie loved walking with her buddies, Angie and Henry.
Rate: See their Web site for rates. They honor Passport America and Escapees.
