Lake Catherine State Park/ Arkansas

This is the original park we wanted to have the AR GTG at, but they were already booked. Didn't want to waste my pics, so I thought I would put them here.

Behind the office/visitor center/store they have a Nature Cabin.


They have a sandy beach area for swimming.



Outdoor showers are next to the beach for rinsing off when you finish swimming.


There is a floating marina where you can get bait and rent paddle boats/bicycles, canoes, kayaks & pontoon boats.



When we were there, they were having an antique outboard motor club gtg. Here are some pics of their cool boats.

We stayed in Site #5 (handicap) with a ramp to the bathhouse.

It even had an accessible fire ring.

There were deer that came up to our site each evening around 5pm.

That's really nice Vickie, I like that there's swimming there. No swimming where we're going for some reason. It reminds me a lot of the COE park we were at last year. But you did great in finding us another beautiful place for our GTG!

Not that we saw or heard! We couldn't see it from our site, but when we walked the ENTIRE park taking pics, we saw no activity over there at all and wondered if it was closed down or something.
