City and State: Diamond Lake, OR
Date: 6/2014

Name of CG: Theilsen View campground

CG Website: National Forest

Overall Rating: 6

Pros: National Forest: Very close to Diamond Lake. Fairly easy to put a boat in the water. Cannot accommodate large rigs. Is great for small TT, 5ers and motorhomes. Heavily shaded. Very cool in June. Nice hiking trails. Boating is great.

Cons: Old campground that does not accommodate large rigs. Heavily shaded does not work for solar rigs. Very cool in June.

Comments: Very heavily used on weekends. Mosquitos are bad in June and campers have lots of camp fires going, I believe to keep the bugs away. I mean like ALL NIGHT LONG. Remember NF has "no services", just a parking spot.
