City and State: Eloy, Arizona (near Tucson)
Name of CG: Desert Valley RV Resort
CG Website: desertvalleyrvpark.com
Overall Rating: (on a scale of 1 – 10) 5 FHU with cable TV
Pros: Nice pool, level sites, they pick garbage up at your site.
Cons: A large parking lot with sites close together. No mature trees of any kind. Advertise "pet friendly" but no where to walk dogs except the roads. Park planned apparently by someone who hasn't RV'd - the sewer connections are at the back of the sites but the electrical near the middle. Some people had three long sewer hoses connected.
Comments: Is located about half way between Tucson and Phoenix for sightseeing.
During their busy season they have a lot of activities. I would probably stay at Picacho State Park if I return to the area - much prettier.
Rate: $34 a nite; $194 weekly
