This park campground is new, only opened 2 months. It has full hookups at state park prices. Seems the area was devistated by 2 hurricanes and a wildland fire so they dozed it and started over. The sites are large and flat, mostly gravel. The roads going into the park are paved. Nice bathhouses. Great place for walking dogs. I was in site 67 on a hill backed up to the main road. It was windy the entire time I was there. Couldn't put awning or rug out. The park has a lot of activities and it's close to things go do.
If you go, definitely take the river tour to the "wild man of the Loxahatchee" place and listen to his story. The rangers have a lot of activities planned and it's not just for kids.
I would definitely recommend this park.
