City and State: Diamond Lake, OR
Date: 7/2014
Name of CG: Broken Arrow campground
CG Website: National Forest
Overall Rating: 6
Pros: National Forest: Huge campground. Fairly close to Diamond Lake. Some shade. Very cool in July. Nice hiking trails. Can accommodate any size rig and configuration. There were a few pull throughs, but they cost more. Has showers with donate box, a dump station, and fresh water available. Every loop has a bathroom and fresh water no hose pump. Late July was fantastic!
Cons: There was no Camp Host. Not near Diamon Lake as that is Thielsen View cg.
Comments: Not many campers in the area. In the loop I was in, there were tenters there for the weekend. The loop over had one RV for most of the time I was there and another came in for the weekend. Most of the rigs and tents were down in the loop where the showers, dump and fresh water was located. It was fairly heavily populated. The upper area was nearly deserted.
Rate: $10 with Golden Age Pass. Pull throughs $20, no discounts available for them.
