Texas Hill Country recommendations?

Will be in this area in early May. Other than traveling for the scenery, is there something I should definitely see or do here? Any CG recommendations?

Hi Joan! Rats I will be in Cali for month of May so will miss your visit to the Hill Country. There is SO much to see! Near the top of my list is Enchanted Rock State Park. Nearby is Fredricksburg; lots of RV parks there. Also LBJ's Ranch (regardless of politics). IF you like cities: Texas State Capital, Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center, Barton Springs in Austin. McKinney State Park is great. If you like history: Goliad State Park. It's hard to go wrong in the Hill Country! PM me if you have specific questions, maybe I can help.
