Baby Spare Tire

Does anyone know how much I can drive on one of those teeny-tiny spares?

I had a flat and CoachNet came out and changed it. Now I have to get it fixed.
Manual just says get it fixed ASAP - it's not meant to be driven on a lot - and don't turn sharply and don't go over 50 mph.

It's a 50 mile round trip to town and I assume I will need two trips - one to drop it off and one to pick it up and be put on.

I figure those 75 miles should be okay?

It's the 50 mph that'll kill me...

You have a Discount Tire? - they should be able to do it all in one trip. I think as long as you maintain the 50 mph, you are good to go for at least that far. Just remember those tires aren't rated for serious wear or serious heat build up.

Most tire places will fix it while you wait. Either way you should be good.

No, it's the one that came with the car. So, I'm guessing full price...

Mitch, I think Maggie meant the place, Discount Tire. They will fix your tire while you wait or put on a new one for you. If you don't have a Discount Tire anywhere around, do you have a National Tire and Battery. They will do the same.

You really are in the middle of nowhere??  Most tire places including Sears and even gas stations will get it fixed in the same day. Just take it slow and easy on that Minnie tire.

As you can see, the population density is a bit on the high side...

BTW, I know you have a Walmart there, you can get it fixed there while you shop or go eat ice cream at McDonalds! :P

Why not replace that tiny tire with a real one? Maybe in the near future.

My "flat" tire had 22 holes in it! WTH?

So, now I'm $425 poorer than I expected to be this morning...
Great Christmas present to myself.
Foolish me had visions of a winter camping trip.
AND the brakes are starting to squeak. Not a good sign, right?

I'm taking a pill and going to nap with The Beast.

Life.
