Still looking for my rig...Now, a financial maintenance issue--cost of insurance? Just wondering if it's hundreds a year or thousands??? Should I just call my ins co to ask for a ball park figure on something I don't even have??? Really good info on this site! I may be heading to FL--seems that's where the most used Class B's are. If anyone lives down there, jump in and give me suggestions!

My RV is insured with GoodSam/GMAC. It cost me around $400/year (not a full-timer), but remember I tow mine, you will be driving yours. I expect there is a difference between towing and driving RVs. Also, I am sure lenght, model, etc will make a difference in price, too.

I think age and value makes the most difference. My rv insurance costs me less than my car - but my rv is also several years older than the car - although it has a higher value - go figure why it's less? But I'm not going to complain.

Thanks guys! Just wanted a ball-park idea. I'll be getting a used, and yes, I'll be driving it, so both your replies are helpful!
