When I got ready to head for home from my beach trip I discovered that I had NO lights on the trailer. Panic time!
Turned out that the trailer plug had some corrosion. A few scrapes with a pocket knife cleaned it up enough to make contact.
So, if you suddenly lose ALL lights check the plug that hooks to your vehicle.

good idea, wonder if a ziplock baggie locked over the end of it would prevent that?
