I have a 1999 Georgie Boy Class C. Georgie Boy no longer makes the Class C. Riding down the highway yesterday the strip that outlines the coach came loose and was flapping in the wind. It slides in a track and covers where the body is screwed together. It is dried and brittle. I need to replace it but don't know what it is called. I hate when I have to called a service manager and tell him it is the thingy that goes around the coach body.
Isn't it called the "trim"? The trim that covers the screws...that's what I would call it. Yeah, I'm with you on that...the thingy that is next to the other thingy. Or the whatcamacallit!
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." Ralph Waldo Emerson
OK, for future reference, it is called Trim Insert Strips. It is sold at CW. I don't know if I can handle all of this, aging house, aging rv and aging body.
trim insert strips, hmmm, putting that in my memory banks for when I start to age heck, I would have called them molding and searched forever to find them and end up getting referred to the lumber yard ok, trim insert strips, got it !
