Wifi booster

I have the Verizon 4G LTE Jetpack 4510. There is a place to attach the charger. The thing has such pathetic battery power that I just keep it plugged in while I'm using it. There is also a place to plug in a single pin plug. There is no usb port, and if I use the power port (a mini usb?) to attach to a usb port, I have no power to the Wifi device.

I can't understand how a booster antenna would work with this thing, if it will at all. I think I'd like to have one if it will work.... Lots of people use Verizon, 'splain it to me pleeeese?

A booster antenna will help with the signal not the power. We have a booster antenna for our Verizon MiFi but I haven't needed it much. It does help occasionally in the house because where I sit, my phone signal is the weakest. But then I only use the MiFi in the house when the U-Verse is out (14 days last billing cycle  ).

It may help some when you are in amongst the trees and maybe down in a valley, where you have signal but something is blocking your "line-of-sight" to the cell tower.

I returned my booster antenna, because it wasn't boosting my signal enough for me to want it. Others have had better luck. Maybe I would now with a different computer. But, as said, it has nothing to do with charging your card.

I have a Wilson booster for the signal to my phone. It is a cradle you sit your phone in with an antenna to the outside. It helps with my signal. I had a different type, but this seems to work quite well.
