I bought a replacement skylight for Myrtle awhile back and plan to install it when the weather is nice again. The old one has a huge crack down the middle and I had the tech at the dealership put some of that roof caulk on it so it wouldn't leak. I read somewhere that I need to use mineral spirits to get the rest of the caulking off when I remove the old skylight, so I did buy some of that. Has anyone replaced one? Any helpful hints before I undertake this mission?
