Each spring we add something new. This year we have decided to add the vent covers.
Do any of you have recommendations..I know there are a few different types.
I seem to hear that many people opt for the ones called "max air"??

Thanks

I have Max-aire on mine and I'm quite satisfied with them. Most people I've
spoke to have the Max-aire vent covers. However, I did not put them on, they
came with my unit but if I had to replace them I would still get Max-aire.

Mine say Max-air on them - came with my unit - and I love them. Don't know any other kind so can't say if another would be better. But these sure do work well.

I, too, have Maxaire. However, I'm not real thrilled with them. The actual vent cover under the Maxaire gets so dirty and there is no way to clean it other than to get on the roof and remove the Maxaire, clean, then replace vent cover. The only good thing I can say about vent covers is that you can drive with the vent open.

Ron says we have Max-air and the reason he really likes them is we can keep them open while driving and when it's raining.

Are you going to let Norm go to CW to buy them?

I don't what brand we have...but I love them...no more getting up in the middle of the night if it starts raining! Guess it's an ingrained habit to close vents before we travel, but I'm going to have to remember to leave them open and then the rig probably won't be quite so hot when we get to the campgrounds. Sometimes it feels like you're opening a oven door in the summer.

..

I had a MaxxFan w/Thermostat and Remote installed a couple of years ago. I absolutely love it. The remote is wonderful, and the fan both blows air in and exhausts it out. It is it's own fan.

Then, there's the MaxxAir, which is a cover only, no fan. And a couple other models. You should go to their website and take a peek around.

My MaxxFan was a bit pricey (close to $500), but that included a brand, spanking new hole in the roof that was already wired and framed by the manufacturer. I got the roof plans from them directly and gave them to my dealer. On lower speeds, it's pretty quiet, and I understand it doesn't suck your battery very much if dry camping.

HA HA HA>>>you know I do not allow him near that store.
I think we might see what kind of price we can get them through AL's RV. They are going to be doing the annual work in it and replacing the window.
