what am I missing?

I bought this ratchet socket wrench and socket to use to crank my support jacks up and down. They don't fit together tho. I seem to be missing something to connect the two, or I have a wrong socket?

I think what you bought is a socket intended to use with a drill.

I think I figured it out. The socket is for a drill, not a wrench. I need to get a socket that fits on the wrench.

Anita, that is what was confusing me too. The extension I guess, goes in the drill.

Off to Home Depot! I wonder if they sell single sockets or if I need to buy the whole set. I guess I will find out. :)

You can buy singles. Take the ratchet so you know you are getting right size. The come in different sizes. 3/8, 1/2. Etc.

The socket goes on your drill gun

I currently have an electric drill so that won't work for now. Will use the ratchet wrench. I will keep that socket tho in case I want to use it with a drill later on. I have one of those crank handles but it is too long to use on one side of the trailer since I have it parked along a wall at the storage place.

That's alot of cranking you'll be doing with a ratchet. Drill will be alot easier and faster, especially in rain ;)
