Yesterday I went to turn on my air conditioning and all it would do was hum so I did a little troubleshooting on the Internet and from what I found out it could be the fan or the celenoid.... does the can have its own solenoid or were they speaking about a general solenoid for the electrical stuff does anyone have any other ideas about what the problem could be thanks Donna

When mine did that it was the fan motor seized up, had to put in a new motor. That was years ago, last year I put in a whole new ac. Hope you don't have that expense.
