today I thought I'd put the bird seed in the backseat of the truck instead of in the bed of the truck
just so that the squirrels wouldn't feast upon it...when I opened the door thought that the
odor from the laundry supplies was strong but didn't think much of it till I went to get in later
and noticed something on the running board....took a look at it wondered opened the door to the
back seat and found that the laundry soap had oozed out (I'd not put the lid on tight enough and in shuffling
things it was tipped) so the better part of a large bottle of tide is all over my floor...My question is this
what is the best route of removal? common sense says adding water isn't the best idea :o
kitty litter?? wet dry vacuum? which I don't have but hopefully can locate someone with one...
what a mess

Sheila, I would think wet/dry vac would be the best bet. However, if you would add water, we could have a bubble fight! Sorry, because I know it's a mess.

oh noooooo, :o :o :o guess if it were me I'd try the old fashioned kitty litter first to get up the majority of the residue, then I'd work
on it by scraping more residue into a dustpan with a wide putty knife, then I'd try the shopvac, in my case...little green clean machine. Love the smell of laundry soap, so guess your truck smells good right now. ;)

Googled it and either wet/dry vac or carpet cleaner and, yes, water, but not a lot. Get up all you can and repeat, and repeat and repeat.
