Any options for replacing all light fixtures to cute LEDs? Camping world about $50 ea and have to order and pay installation. I need 2 overhead and 3 reading or sconce types. Where else can I get them and installation?
I had a nice visit with Birdie and Longdog at Gruene, Tx. Canyon Lake. Got lots of good RVing tips.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! I'm almost ready.

Johnnie, I moved this to the appropriate room.

I didn't change any fixtures, just replaced all my bulbs with leds on both this rig and my previous one. Much less expensive and does the trick.

And it won't cost you $50 each either! That's way high. Many are simply unplug current bulb, and plug in new little panel. Easy.

And it helps to have the bulb you want to replace in your hand when you go to find the replacement..... Many of them look similar but do not connect exactly the same......and I know this because........

Definitely do the Internet research to find the bulbs as they are much, much less expensive. Birdie and I both replaced bulbs not fixtures. Use less power and definitely less heat which is important in Texas. Mitch's post had some good info.http://www.womenrv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=10921&hilit=mitch+s+led+lights

I want to switch out fixtures too cause these are 1996 ugly cheap plastic with even uglier yellow frames. ,I want nice looking with better lights. I took one off, I've changed fixtures in house, black & white wires, 2 white on LED fixture, but wouldn't work, supposed to use either white to pos. or neg., but nothing, so mailed those back to Amazon, now I have 2 wires hanging out where once there was a light.

Johnnie these fixtures must operate on 12 volt power not 110 house electric.
