The magnetic switch for my electric stairs has come loose, so the stairs go up and down whenever they're in the mood. :D One thing about Betsy, she's got personality. So have any of you replaced the switch or had the switch replaced? Any ideas about cost? The way things are, I'll have to drive to the RV guy with the stairs down.

I had to have the motor replaced a couple of years ago and It was about $250. Don't know what a switch would cost. Mine had a mind of it's own for a while. I never knew when it was going to work. When it finally quit I had to drive about 200 miles back from a rally. Good thing I only have one step and it doesn't stick out too far.

Thanks, Martha. At this point I'll just disconnect them if there's more to it than replacing or securing the switch.
