Edit: Thank you to everyone who made a suggestion. Tina answered the question. Her post is near the bottom.

Does anyone know what this white wall switch is for? It isn't mentioned in the manuals I have. I've also sent a picture to Gulfstream. My coach is a 2005 B Touring Cruiser Gulfstream. It doesn't seem to turn on any light.

A porch light, perhaps?

In my motorhome one of the overhead lights has a switch on the light and a wall switch. If the light is turned off at the light the wall switch won't turn it on. Just a guess.

I think I checked all the "light" possibilities, but I'll check again. Thanks.

It looks like it's next to the sink, could it be the water pump?

The switch for the water pump is on the control panel. I feel like I should offer a prize for whoever gets it right. Hmmmm....
Haven't heard back from Gulfstream. Vickie, wasn't it you who contacted them for me a while ago? If so, how did you do that? If email, do you have an address?
I called customer service and left a message. I don't use Outlook and Gulfstream's email links launch Outlook. They don't show the email address. Thanks.

They don't use outlook, you have your computer set up to default to outlook when you click to send an email. You need to change that in your computer settings to default to whatever email program you're using.

If that switch is to a light that also works from the light, it won't do anything if the light is in the off position. In my case its my middle ceiling light so that I can turn on and off that light when entering or leaving my rig. So turn on the lights from the light, then go see if any will turn off by that switch.

This is only if that switch is next to your door. That picture really doesn't tell me where in the rig the switch is.

The switch is next to the kitchen sink on the wall behind the bathtub at the back of the coach. The door is directly across from it. I'll take a picture if I need to. Thanks for the computer info, too.

Check to see if you have an outside outlet. Some rigs have this so you can hang lights from the awning and can turn them on and off from inside. It's another guess.... ;)

I have an extra switch by my sink that will kick
my hot water heater onto propane for a "hurry up
and get hot water" moment.

I'll test this as soon as it stops raining. Thanks!

I've never heard of this before. I hope you're right. Any ideas about how to test it?

mine is not an OFF and ON switch, it is a rocker switch, you press it once and it rocks back to original position.
Don't know how you'd test it, sorry.

I had a couple of voodoo moments about my light switches, and it turned out to be, yes, that there are 3 switches that turn on lights, but those lights confusingly also have switches on them. Mine by my sink is to my middle ceiling light. Try moving the sliding switch on the ceiling light nearest this switch, on the ceiling, to the other position, and then flip up the wall switch. If that doesn't work, I might even put in a new bulb in the light to make sure. I think they put a few of these wall switches in so we don't have to reach up to the ceiling, and so it would be more like our stick-built homes.
