Does anyone have any feedback on RV covers? I heard some good and some not so good.

Unfortunately I can't copy and paste to show the post that discusses this best from my phone. But if you go to the maintenance room and do a search for the topic, to cover or not to cover, you'll find a discussion on this.

Pamela, you need to be careful here in TExas with covers because of the humidity. You don't want mold growing underneath your cover because it doesn't have good air circulation. I'm more concerned with tire covers to keep the tires from cracking from sitting out in the sun.

Mold would not be good....I think to protect mine ...a good wash and
waxed with good wax...would be best....do as often as needed even when
just sitting...

The guys at the RV place here said pretty much the same thing, so I had mine done last fall. It looked great when they finished, even all the dark streaks under the awning were gone. Yesterday DH took a chamois and clear water to the ones that had come back and they wiped right off!! Having it waxed wasn't cheap but was less than storing it for the winter and I hadn't been able to find a place for it under $100 a month where it would fit.

Thanks ladies for the input. Nixed the cover idea and am reconsidering the expense of buying/constructing a carport. My plans are starting to move towards retiring in Feb. and planing a trip in late spring. It;s exciting when the dream starts to become more of a reality! Need to get help puttting a pic of me and the rig on this site. Maybe friend RetiredHappy can help????
