I'm talking about the faucet at the campground site, not the connection on your rig! They're usually pretty low to the ground, heck you could even spray it with bleach because of Mitch P...just saying how low it is....

Okay - this is a serious question for Flick - have you ever camped in a campground ever? I know you haven't with your FooFoo, but was curious if before?
(We all know Miss Vickie will have some smart a$$ answer...) (but watch - now that I said THAT, she won't...she's so predictable.)

Couple more question for you to NOT answer (like the one you didn't answer above...)

1) "Really low", as in low blow, or you starting with the short jokes, too?

2) Why isn't your dog moving?

3) Why are you becoming mean, like Vickie???

Answer to #1: (a little later than you expected cuz I actually have another life off line on occasion): I grew up camping...little trailers, bigger trailers, tents, camper trucks, Class C's. When I was very young, we lived an hour and a half away from Yosemite...used to go up (with no reservations) on weekends when my dad was not sitting on alert. Saw a heap of the US as a kid with my folks. Then fast forward many years, I dated a guy who came complete with an RV and Jeep. We camped on the eastern side of the Sierras near Mammoth, and we also completed the Rubicon around the back side of Tahoe, off roading for three days with no running water, in tents, carrying whatever we needed in the Jeep! So YES, I've been camping for most of my life! :D

Answer to 1): That WAS a stature comment. :o
Answer to 2): Not sure why the doggy isn't moving; he was when I "borrowed" it!
Answer to 3): Cuz it's fun... :D

Something else I didn't know until it was posted on this Forum - turn the power OFF at the pedestal while you're plugging into it and your trailer. Turn it back ON only when all is securely plugged in. (Did I remember that right?)

..

Absolutely right Mitch...and turn off the breaker before you un-plug to leave, too. Also, ( and Beth caught me on this one!! I know better, really I do!!), make sure you're not touching the electrical pedestal with one hand while you un-plug or turn a breaker with the other. Makes a really nice clear path for electrocution if there's a bare wire touching any where.

Hey, I'm good for something. And Sharon, I caught myself the other day- and thought "boy, I bet Sharon was here to get back at me" :)

Yeah, we had water containers that I remember filling up, and the faucets were about 3 feet off the ground!!!!

Maybe it just seemed that way, because you were little...sometimes Mitch has to use a step stool.

Been answered but you really need an extension cord specifically for RVs.

I use a power cord all the time with 110 going to the MH when it's being stored. The furnace fan is low wattage-enough to run off the house batteries, so it doesn't put any strain on the circuits.

When I have a 30-amp or 50-amp plug, I use my 50-amp extension cord (got it at CW).
