This is a good thread :P My black water tank has a vent and I did not even consider the dehydration factor. It is important to keep water in the black tank. I liked the link to the Good Sam info. So I just finished filling and dumping black tank until clear (4 times). Put the 10 gals of water and a Cascade Action PAC. It'll stew until I drive RED to the dealer on Tues and it should slosh and clean. When I get her home, I'll empty and fill with 10 gals and some ??? Haven't decided on RidX or Odorlos. Are we having fun yet??

Thank you for clarifying the "calgon", whenever I do finally get out there camping, I'll add this to the list.
