I believe that Motostat is a satellite company that's used by lots of RVers. You might want to check them out.

I think most RV's today have a place outside to connect a cable to and a connection inside to run a cable to the TV. Most come with a TV antenna on the roof that cranks up and has a signal booster. If you have a satellite dish mounted on the roof there will be a cable inside to connect to the TV. You will have to learn what has to be connected where to get everything to work. I have had to learn more than I wanted to know about electronics. I liked it better when all I had to do was tell my boys what I wanted. lol

Glad I found this thread as it has been very informative. The Seeker does have cable hook up for campgrounds that offer cable, although I haven't even put a tv in her yet. I do have a 19" flat screen that we are going to take along on our trip to Natchez to play with. But honestly, I don't watch too much tv other than local news, history channel, and a few other shows. I can tell you that cutting the cord between me and the tv is not that hard. I lived in the teacher dorm while teaching in Thailand where you could have a tv but I chose not to since all but one channel was in Thai and I never got fluent enough to understand. I did watch dvd movies on my laptop as we had free wifi in the dorm and would often listen to radio stations from home (the morning shows were my evening shows and vice versa). Maybe once a month or 6 weeks I would go off to visit another area of the country and stay in a guest house with BBC. I think that I will try to pick up local stations for the news/weather but otherwise my tv needs are limited. Maybe I'm being naive in which case it sounds like you girls have it covered for me.
