Tips for Gertie

Tips for Gertie

Postby AlmostThere » Wed Jan 13, 2010 6:28 pm

While cleaning up my bookmarks for RVing I came across this website I had saved. It's a woman who has done improvements to her RV (with pictures). I thought maybe some of you might enjoy looking through it.

Thanks for the link to "Tips for Gertie." I ordered the toaster/toaster oven - it will fit nicely on my kitchen counter. I also ordered the "10-Minute Tech" books with the tips - the oldest (first) one was under a dollar! I read what I could on-line and they have some great tips. I love books like these! I'll let you know if I find any really good ones worth reporting.

Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed the whole website which included Traveling with Gertie and Skylarking. Just one little thing, Gertie was the RV and the website is written by Andy Baird. Not that a man can't have great ideas too, heh, heh. Most of the ideas are pretty good and not really so difficult. One thing that didn't really get mentioned was all the extra weight you are setting yourself up for when you add all the additional storage space. The very best part is that we are actually talking about RVs here.
