Generator/battery questions..

I wouldn't jump from a car to the mh - have heard horror stories of people jumping their trucks with their cars and that's basically the same thing. Make sure what is charging you is stronger than what's being charged. Since I know of someone having their car not start because of a dome light left on overnight - I wouldn't be the least surprised but the battery drained because of the gps left plugged in. So see if you can get the battery charged at Auto Zone - they'll charge it for you free - then see if it'll start. That's what I'd do first.

I agree with Sharon, there have been times i haven't gotten the connection quite right. take clips off and re-connect. worth a try.

Nope Carol, you didn't do anything wrong and you didn't hurt it. What we're saying is a generator needs to work and needs a load on it to do that.Next time you start it, put a cup of water in the micro and run it for a minute, turn on the AC for 15 or 20 minutes at the same time and make that puppy work for its gas! That blows all of the cobwebs out of it. Those things are made to work hard and if they are just putting along not doing anything they get all clogged up with crap in their innards. Kind of like a car if you just putt along at 20mph all of the time. You need to put your foot in it and blow all of the accumulated stuff in the engine out.
