OMG I apologize SO MUCH, I just looked back and saw all these stupid posts I put on here on your serious question post and tried to delete them, but can not delete posts that have been replied to. I apologize so much, I will be more careful and send my questions like that to pm's. Sorry

We both posted the same thing!

Janice, and anyone else interested in the cordless blinds, go to www.blindsaver.com. They carry many different brands of cordles shades - Ipicked a company that was having a sale and had free shipping. They come in lots of different colors. I got opaque ones for the living room and night darkening for the bedroom. Can't remember the exact price but they were less than the corded RV day/night shades.

Dumb question(s) here from someone with absolutely NO decorating sense whatsoever.
I have cordless in my little trailer now (just push and pull on the bottom rail, right?)

Do the blackout styles really work? (oh, wouldn't that be nice!)

On my current cellular shades, do I measure just the clothy part, or do I measure between and up to the brackets?

I sure do like the blackout thing...

You measure for how wide you want your shades to actually be. I wanted mine to go about 2" beyond the window on each side. Same thing on the length, allow length so you can pull the shade below the actual window. Yes, the blackout ones really work well.

"Karen posted" that is the link?

I'll hijack one more time. How about a lesson in advance posting at the TN gtg, Mitch?

See another reason for you, Vicki, to take site 41.

Karen, I finally made it to Lowes and checked blinds. I really liked the cordless pleated shades. I decided against the wood blinds, I think they would be very noisy on the road.
