It's the fuse, Dummy

Wal-Mart (auto section) and Auto parts stores normally have packs of fuses with a puller (like tweezers) to make it easier to pull the bad fuse. They are often color coded and come in normal and mini size. As others have stated pretty much anywhere that deals with cars will have the spare fuses.

You can get little kits like http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cooper-Bussma ... t/20971316

I'd open the panel and verify the fuse size and see which sizes are more common. 10 or 15 amps are pretty common circuits. My water pump 10 amps and many of the outlets are 10 or 15 amp fuses.

I have a little box like this I keep all my fuses and spare light bulbs in http://www.walmart.com/ip/Plastic-Stora ... t/24741921

It's a no brainer  Once you do it, you'll be a pro!

We even carry fuses at the store I'll be working this summer. Can find them most anywhere!

Your GFI outlets are usually near a water source like the kitchen sink, etc. as they are to prevent short circuiting and keep you safe from getting fried.

Sheila, the door will not be hidden, unless you put something in front of it. Above is what mine looks like now, not quite the same as my last, but similar. In my last rig it was under the fridge. In this one it's under my bed.
