Refrigerator

Having issue with my refrigerator...
Last night when I went to make a grilled sand...the stove wouldn't come on so went out and switched over the tanks
(the one I had on the fireplace still had propane in it) went in and the stove lit...made sure that the refrigerator was on gas
and went about fixing supper eating enjoying the sunset came in and some time realized that the light was on by the check on
the refrigerator so adjusted it again thinking that there must have been air in the line..and went about my business and checked it
again later and it was back to the check button...so this morning I went in and had the tank filled thinking that perhaps it was due to being
low...from what the propane guy said it has to do with pressure...so switched tanks and went in went through the process again yes I have
gas have ran the stove as well as the oven....it will be on the gas for about 4 minutes then on to the check
I've ran the generator thinking that perhaps because the batteries are not good that would help nope still went to "check" :(
wondering what your thought are other than find a reputable service person...
have put the freezer food in a friends freezer and what needs to really be kept colder in the ice chest
hoping that someone out there will have a good idea as to what to do...

When mine did that it was the thermocoupler. It was an easy and not expensive fix so maybe check that?

also check your batteries cause if the batteries are low and not charged enough the motherboard won't work to control the fridge. (its really not called a motherboard but the proper name slips my mind, it controls what the fridge is doing, temp ect.) That happen to mine once and everything thawed out.

You might try pulling the outside cover off and making sure it's clean in there and that the chimney/exhaust vent to the roof is clear. Should be able to remove the roof vent and look down the chimney. It could just need service. Anything with a flame needs service from time to time. Did you check the manual's trouble shooting guide?

Will it run on electric/generator? You said you ran the generator but was the fridge on electric then? If it only malfunctions on gas I'd check that the burner is clean and the chimney is clear. Burner tips need to be replaced every so often.

Hope that helps. With the temps in Quartzsite AZ and a full bottle you should have plenty of gas pressure.
