Panel for tanks & batteries doesn't light up

Panel for tanks & batteries doesn't light up

Postby Redetotry » Tue Jul 16, 2013 8:21 am

Ah the joys of and older rig...seems like every time I drive Elsie I find another problem. When I pushed the button to see if my batteries were doing ok, nothing happen until I turned it loose and then they all flashed and went out...any ideas? All the other little lights that stay on when the batteries are turned on are working. I have a feeling this might cost me a whole lot more than any other issue I've had because I found myself looking and dreaming of a slightly larger RV.

I had one of my switches go out and it was a simple fix. Mine are on the front of the stove hood. The RV place sold me a new switch and the old one just unplugged and popped out. I would think if all went out at the same time it would be a fuse somewhere. Not all rigs are the same so hope your problem is a simple fix. I think I remember that you have a Roadtreak. On other forums I see people recommend asking questions on the Roadtreak forum. Maybe they can tell you how to fix it.

Thanks Martha, I'm hoping it is an easy fix I was thinking fuse too but puzzled why all would flash on and off briefly. It is a Pleasure Way but they are very similar to the RT.
