My city water system worked for the first 18 hours or so and then just stopped flowing. I tested each component (CG spigot, regulator, hose) and individually they worked fine, but attached to RV inlet, no flow.
So my question : can a regulator stop the flow altogether after some 18 hours of working fine? The sign at the CG check-in warned of 90 psi, so I didn't dare skip the regulator, but it was a cheap one (no dial), so I don't really know what happened. My stopgap solution was to remove the regulator and fill the fresh water tank and just use that.
So did the high pressure kill it? Did it commit suicide trying to protect my rig? Is it even dead?
